For this project, I was assigned to create branding for a concept company named Uncle Joe’s Organic Foods. The deliverables included a logo, word mark, and slogan, along with mockups.

Process
I wanted the branding to feel welcoming and nurturing, a sweet grandpa or uncle. Sticking to an organic theme, I drafted up three sketches of men in farmer attire and an accompanying palette to reflect farmlands. “Unc” is typically used to refer to older black men, so my slogan played off of that and utilized rhyming to make it easier to remember.
