Hello! My name is Ashley Foster, and I’m an ambitious graphic designer specializing in print design, branding, and illustration. I’m a senior graphic design major at Howard University, where I developed a strong foundation in typography, advertising, photography, and image editing. I was introduced to art in my childhood through comic books, cartoons, and video games. Initially, wanting to pursue a career in illustration, I pivoted 

to design in high school after enrolling in my first digital art class. Fast forward, I’m in my final year of college and have been truly immersed 

in the vast world of design and art as a whole. I love thediversity of skills required, functionality throughout industries, and the process, from 

sketch to feedback to final. 

In my work, I strive to create designs that are artistically expressive 

but efficient and organized. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate
with Howard University’s Art Department as well as The Farnsworth 

Art Museum to create both printed and digital works. If I’m not designing, I partake in photography, music production, and listening 

to music, which provides me with peace and inspiration.
